A Magical Evening with Japanese Classical Music
In the evening, prepare to be mesmerized by a violin concert headlined by Junko Chiba, a distinguished violinist and graduate of the Juilliard School of Music, who is also a member of the prestigious Kioi Hall Chamber Orchestra. Ms. Chiba is a renowned educator, teaching at Senzoku Gakuen School of Music and Ferris University in Japan.
She will be joined by her incredibly talented family, including her daughter Marina Wako, a multi-award-winning musician who has earned numerous accolades, including first prize at the 74th All Japan Student Music Competition in Tokyo. Marina’s brother, Kento Wako, a rising star and sophomore at Tokyo University of the Arts, will also perform alongside them. Completing the ensemble is Akiyo Ichinomiya, an accomplished pianist. Together, they will deliver a performance of Japanese classical music that promises to be an unforgettable evening.

This special evening includes an elegant plated dinner thoughtfully curated to reflect the sophistication of the event and to honor our VIP guests, Ambassador Kazuya Endo and wife Madam Akiko Endo. A portion of the proceeds from this concert will benefit the Seven Spirits Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering children in the Philippines through music and sports. The foundation helps children develop cooperation, empathy, and self-expression through orchestral performance. By attending this event, you will support these children in their journey to discover music and build a sense of community.
Additionally, Junko Chiba will lead a master class for students from the University of Southern Philippines Music Department and children from the Seven Spirits Foundation, offering mentorship and valuable guidance from an accomplished artist.

- Cancellation Policy: Free cancellation is available up to 2 days before the event on 19 December.
