Cebu is a Philippines
oldest city, it is hailed as the queen city of the south. It became the main hub in Visayas, with the

Direct flights from Japan to Cebu Island (Mactan
International Airport) are operating from Narita Airport, which is
approximately 5 hours and 20 minutes to Cebu. Returning to Narita approximately
4 hours 30 minutes, the closest resort island from Japan! The Philippines consists
of 7107 islands, the largest island is Luzon with the capital Manila. Cebu is
located in Central Visayas, with the east of Negros,on the southeast of Bohol
and directly the west of Leyte.
For tourist’s vacation/stay within 30 days doesn’t required need a visa. (However, departure air tickets are necessary.)
The time difference with Japan is -1 hour, for example: Japan Time is (9:00) the Philippines are only delayed by 1 hour (08:00).

Currency
The Philippine currency unit is called Philippine peso. Notation (php) or put a P in the head. (Such as P3000 or 3000 php)
The rate as of August 25, 2016 is 1 yen ⇒ about 0.46 pesos
Exchange for 10,000 Yen is about 4,600 pesos. You can exchange money in front of the hotels, airport, bank, malls and money changer shops. "Core Pacific Money Exchange" is a money exchange office that will assist you with a good money exchange rate. Loacted in Mactan Island, 1st floor in Gaisano Island Mall New Building, MEPZ 2, next to the supermarket opposite J Park, and 4th floor in Ayala Mall, Cebu City.
Language
The official language in the Philippines is Tagalog and
English. Visayas and Mindanao speak a Visayan dialect (Bisaya) in Cebu locals speaks
Visayan dialect and most of them communicates English for tourists.
Transportation
Getting around Cebu quite a bit of tasky, but as long you
enjoy the moving around and safely. The major transportation in Cebu is Jeepney
with their routes. Going to the city to the other areas of Cebu like Mactan,
Lapu Lapu City need to two rides of Jeepney routes. Taxi cab are also around if
you want an easier way of transportation. Busses are available for north-south
route. You can catch the bus in the North Bus terminal located Logarta Ave, Mandaue
City, and Southern Bus terminal is located in N. Bacalso Ave, Pahina Central,
Cebu City. Some areas in Cebu (like
Mandaue & Lapu-Lapu) used Tricycle and Sikad Sikad (Bicycle) going to some
establishments and near areas.
Drinking Water
Drinking direct in the faucet is prohibited in Cebu. Drinking water must be purchased, mineral water are available around the area.
On the site, water servers are installed in each household and schools, and Japanese restaurants eat vegetables with water of the water server and wash rice. 5 gallons = 18 liters, about 25 pesos to 75 pesos. (Price varies depending on water manufacturer)
Most recognized mineral water brand is "Nature Spring (Nature Spring)". When you purchased at supermarket, it is about 10 pesos for 500 ml bottle.
Voltage
220V 60HZ
When using electric appliances in Cebu, a voltage converter
is required. There are also lending transformers for hotels. For long-term
stay, we recommend that you purchase and use exclusive code as it may suddenly have
short-circuit problem even with cameras and personal computers compatible with
220V.
